BANGALORE, DECEMBER 20: Eventually reel life did spill over into the event as Hrithik Roshan led a mock baraat to Suzanne Khan's doorstep at the Golden Palms Resort and Spa on Wednesday. Though the two had agreed to a simple registered marriage, albeit preceded by all the attendant rituals that accompany traditional Hindu and Muslim wedding ceremonies, the ghoda and the baraat were elements that Hrithik couldn't resist.

Apparently, Sanjay Khan played along. To indulge his prospective son-in-law, he arranged a horse. The superstar, followed by his baraat, then rode around the resort for a while.

The wedding ceremony started almost an hour behind schedule. But...

While Hrithik Roshan wed Suzanne Khan amidst revelry in Bangalore on Wednesday, Sitaram Mandal, the watchman who guards his home at Kavita building in Juhu, wore a despondent look on his face. BANGALORE: They came in the dozens, early in the morn, most of them teeny-boppers in tight blue jeans or short skirts hoping to catch a glimpse of their hearthrob Hrithik Roshan. Television crews and the print media waited outside too.
He arrived at the Bangalore Airport early on Monday. Security men surrounded him, put him in Sanjay Khan's gleaming white cadillac and sped away.

The 8 O' clock evening flight had many more guests including Rishi Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Karan (Dara Singh's son), singer Sukhbir, designer Anna Singh along with Suzanne's friends, hairdresser Dilshad and jewellery designer Paulomi Sanghvi.

But before we go into what Heartthrob Hrithik did at the jaimala ceremony, let's take a look at the scenic setting of the shaadi. Inside info has it that the wedding of the year was solemnised on the outskirts of an Olympic-size swimming pool at Sanjay Khan's Golden Palms Resort and Spa.
